designing for education

Client: caliber schools
social Issue: education & equity
EXPERTISE: brand identity & graphic design

Caliber Schools believes all children deserve a rigorous education, regardless of zip code. Its mission is to shift the experiences, expectations, and outcomes for students in historically underserved communities. They provide students in the Easty Bay with a challenging and engaging personalized education that equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in competitive colleges, careers, and communities.

Since 2016, I’ve had the pleasure of designing a number of internal and external marketing materials for the school system, including banners, school note books, enrollment post cards, a brand style guide, and the school’s first-ever annual report.

Testimonial: It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Ivellisse. She has been critical in helping our organization to push our vision, storytelling and branding. Ivi is constantly pushing herself in terms of creativity, design, and impact on her audience. She asks provocative questions and views design and branding on a deep level; her process is not just about fonts and colors but about stories and lives. Ivellisse is professional, easy to work with, unassuming, patient, and caring. Her work has grown alongside ours; we are honored to be a part of her journey. -Maggie Goldstein Cooper, Head of Talent @ Caliber Schools
